Saltwater Fishing Report North Carolina Jan 3rd through January 21st - 2015
Offshore
Bluefin Tuna fishing is getting steadily better and there have been some really big Bluefins landed.
The commercial price for Bluefin is lower than it has been but it should steadily increase as the season continues . Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna continue to provide great fishing and King Mackerel activity is picking up in the Gulf Stream.
Inshore Striped Bass and Trout fishing is really good right now and some Flounder and Bluefish are being caught all along the coast . The Red Drum have moved farther south but there have been reports of catches from Morehead City south to Murrels Inlet. False Albacore fly fishing has really picked up and offers anglers a great fight on light action tackle.
